Currently (as at 16 Jul 2022), the Hall is open for all bookings at 'normal' capacity.
The Village Hall Committee meet regularly (at least monthly) and review the latest guidance to ensure we implement any and all required regimes for a Covid-secure environment.
We are continuing with additional cleaning and sanitising regimes, including room 'fogging' and hand sanitising stations are in place at the Hall entrance and throughout the facility.
For the Community Cafe, we ask you to please sanitise your hands on entering and we encourage you to wear a mask until you are seated. Tables are cleared and sanitised quickly after use.
Windows that were not openable or did not have 'Trickle ventilation' have been replaced (thanks to a grant from Essex County Council Covid Safe Community Building fund) to help improve ventilation, and easier to clean flooring has been installed in the Lounge. All toilets and sink taps have been replaced and new, paperless, hand-dryers have been installed in all toilets.
Covid 19 restrictions lifted on 26th January 2022: The Government has announced the lifting of all Covid 19 restrictions on Thurs 26th January except the requirement to isolate if you are infected with Covid/Omicron.
